چکیده

Publish/subscribe system is a wide-area communication infrastructure which allows data distribution across unlimited number of publishers and subscribers. Both publishers and subscribers have the ability to express their interest in form of events, or a pattern of events by sending the subscription to the publish/subscribe network. The provisioning of basic security mechanisms such as authentication and confidentiality is highly challenging in a content based publish/subscribe system. This issue raises a challenging requirement for handling encrypted data for the purpose of routing based on protected content. The considerable data in publish/subscribe model needs to be disseminate accurately to the interested users quickly, so improving the match efficient is a very important method to solve this problem. This paper provides authentication and confidentiality in broker-less publish/subscribe systems, by using attribute set based encryption (ASBE) and improving event matching using Predicate Priority based Event Matching, All over system is seen to be efficient and guarantees good results.

Identity Based Encryption for Securing Publish Subscribe System

We have reachable a new approach to provide authentication and confidentiality in a broker-less content-based publish/subscribe system. Security is highly challenging in this system. In the project, security is provided by adapting the Cipher text policy attribute based encryption. This over all approach provides fine-grained key management and the efficient cost for encryption, decryption, and...

Reconfiguring Self-stabilizing Publish/Subscribe Systems

Recent work on self-stabilizing routing in publish/subscribe systems showed that it is feasible to automate reconfigurations in case of faults by enabling the system to recover from arbitrary transient faults. In this paper, we discuss how to incorporate planned reconfigurations of the broker topology into self-stabilizing publish/subscribe systems without service interruption. We present an al...

Hardware Architecture of an XML/XPath Broker/Router for Content-Based Publish/Subscribe Data Dissemination Systems

The dissemination of various types of data faces ongoing challenges with the growing need of accessing manifold information. Since the interest in content is what drives data networks, some new technologies and thoughts attempt to cope with these challenges by developing content-based rather than address-based architectures. The Publish/Subscribe paradigm can be a promising approach toward cont...

Disruption-resilient Publish and Subscribe

Publish and Subscribe (pub/sub) dissemination paradigm has emerged as a popular means of disseminating selective time-sensitive information. Through the use of event service or broker, published information is filtered to disseminate only to the subscribers interested in that information. Once a broker is compromised, information can be delivered unfiltered, dropped, delayed, perhaps colluding ...

Minimal broker overlay design for content-based publish/subscribe systems

Mission-critical distributed applications, such as Internet advertising platforms, increasingly utilize distributed publish/subscribe systems as a messaging substrate for information dissemination. These applications require low latency performance from the substrate, as the timely delivery of messages can have a direct impact on revenue. The cost of managing and operating distributed publish/s...
